Brothers Cosmo and Quasar are estimated to be about 1.5 years old.
They were originally purchased from Critter Jungle in Orleans, but after being with their family for almost a year, they unfortunately were no longer safe in their current home. With their best interest in mind, their family decided to surrender them to the Rescue.
Both boys are quiet, and more on the shy side. They require quite a bit of coaxing to get them to come out and explore. They definitely do still feel most comfor...

Meet this sweet father-son pair who have found themselves at the Rescue for their golden months.
This lovely pair were surrendered after their previous human passed away and no one else in the family had the capacity to give them a home. They are estimated to be about 2 to 2.5 years old.
Mani arrived with a slight eye infection while Monsieur has a small and harmless Keratin cyst on his leg. Both had mites and the beginning of hind end degeneration, but none of this has prevented them from...

Mallow & Boodle
Update: April 29, 2024
Mallow & Boodle will need a final treatment of parasite medication on May 13, 2024. Potential adopters need to be aware and willing to apply a simple topical solution provided by the Rescue on that date and to continue to monitor for symptoms, if required.
Mallow & Boodle were originally adopted from the Montreal SPCA as tiny babies, then surrendered to the Rescue along with the sweet Shucks and Jerry.
These two boys are a little more unsure about being handled, bu...

Peach & Rosa
Peach & Rosa are sweet sisters whom we estimate to be between 10 months to 1 year old. They were originally surrendered to the SPCA Gatineau with a much older girl who unfortunately already had PT symptoms as well as some respiratory issues; the older girl had to eventually be euthanized, leaving just Rosa and Peach.
These two girls are a hoot! They explore, scamper everywhere and love to cuddle and tussle in equal amounts.
They are not exactly the cuddliest girls, but they love their huma...

Both boys are so friendly and love to explore. It may take them a while to warm up to you, and they still aren't the biggest fan of being handled, but once they are out and about, all they have...

Below are a few words from their foster family:
Paris: She is a very active girl. Paris loves to climb all over us and give us kisses. Of the bunch, she is the most fearless and fast as lightning!

Serein & Tsunami
This pair of sisters were surrendered to by their previous owner who found herself unable to provide the care they needed.
The foster confessed that she may have chosen their names a little bit too soon. The first day she took them home, Serein found a cozy spot to lounge and took a long nap, while Tsunami spent her entire playtime tearing around the play room, trying to climb the walls. Thus, she decided to name the "calm" girl Serein.
Little did she know, within the next 24 hours, Serein...

Jerry & Tommy
Jerry and Tommy were surrendered to the Rescue after their previous owner had to move and decided she couldn't take the pet rats with her. It just so happened that they were both still babies because she had just purchased them 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately she couldn't remember the name of the breeder she got Tommy from, and the pet store she bought Jerry from only allows 7 days to return an unwanted pet.
The good news is that we had a foster family become available, and so we were able to ...

Their original owner got bitten several times and despite her best efforts to socialize them, they continued to fear her and avoid her at all costs. Denise especially was so fearful she would let out a blood-curdl...
