Jerry was originally adopted from the Rescue in June of 2023, however was returned to the Rescue in 2024. Shucks was originally adopted from the Montreal SPCA by that same person as a tiny palm-sized baby.

Update: July 21, 2021. Unfortunately Othello's face abscess has returned. We will again treat with antibiotics and saline flushes.
Update: June 10, 2021. Great news! Turns out, the mass on Othello's face was an abscess, most likely caused by fighting between Othello and his brother Checkers. Ned & Edbert
Meet brothers Ned and Edbert. These two were actually surrendered to the Rescue when only a few weeks old and thus benefited from being socialized since a very early age. Both boys are extremely friendly and social, though Ned is definitely the more outgoing one. Edbert loves to be around people, and playing and cuddling with his brother, but he's definitely less happy about being carried around.

Meet this trio of unlikely friends (from left to right), Wilma who is about 1 year old, Amy, who is estimated to be 1.5 years old and Nutmeg, who is around 7 months old.
All three were brought into the rescue from dire situations.

Update March 2021:
Unfortunately, both Wraith and Purple had to be euthanized by our veterinarian due to persistent and worsening respiratory disease, leaving Grey the sole survivor from this group. Even so, Grey himself has severe and chronic respiratory disease and requires medication twice a day.
His monthly medical bill is about $30.
