Dixie

Sept. 2020: Despite being the completely healthy one, our foster parents were shocked to find Dixie had passed away overnight. She had no symptoms and had suffered no trauma. Most likely, she ad died in her sleep or had suffered a stroke. Rest in Peace Dixie. Dixie and Cora, both girls born on Halloween night of 2018 are super curious and love to explore. While they used to be quite nervous, their parents have done an amazing job socializing them. Cora and Dixie both enjoy being perched on yo...

Seth & Rogan

These boys were transferred to us from the Gatineau SPCA after no one seemed to want to adopt them. We can't understand why, because honestly, Seth and Rogan are two of the sweetest boys we have ever met. They are curious, extremely gentle, and wonderful little beings who are calm and tolerate handling very well. Being picked up isn't their favourite thing, especially not for Seth who tends to be a bit squirmy, but once they are in your arms and have a nice sweater to snuggle into, they are c...

Eponine & Pierrette

These two sisters are looking for a patient, understanding, loving family who has experience with rats, or are willing to work with them, through thick and thin. They were rescued from a very bad situation along with 18 other rats, many of whom will also need a special home. Eponine and Pierrette have both come so far. Out of all of the girls from this large rescue, they have adjusted most quickly to new situations. In February 2016, both girls presented with a small mammary tumor in their gr...

Fleur & Cosette

These two sisters are looking for a patient, understanding, loving family who has experience with rats, or are willing to work with them, through thick and thin. They were rescued from a very bad situation along with 18 other rats, many of whom will also need a special home. The first is tiny little Fleur. Despite her diminutive size, Fleur is quick to protect her much larger sister, Cosette. She is unfortunately still quite prone to nipping, especially when anyone tries to pick her up. Howev...

Guy & Stéphane *medical hold*

Meet brothers Guy and Stéphane! These two nearly identical brothers were rescued along with 18 other rats from a horrible situation. Although they were terrified, quick to bite, and sick, with the amount of time and love their foster-dad has given them, both boys are now fully adoptable! Guy is the more outgoing of the two brothers. He spends most of his time wondering around his foster dad's bedroom, going back to the cage only for food, water, or poop-breaks (he's well litter trained!). Gu...

They were rescued from a very bad situation along with 18 other rats, many of whom will also need a special home. Amelie (pic 1) is the guardian of this pack. She is right at the door at all times, ready to deliver a swift warning bite to anyone who dares to enter. Her foster parents are working hard to show her we mean no harm. Alt...

Leonard

Leonard was surrendered with his rat pal, Sheldon, as senior ratizens when their human friend lost interest. Sheldon has since passed away from an illness that was left untreated at that time. As such, our fine older gentleman Leonard is looking for a retirement home where he can soak up some love, eat lots of yummy food, and enjoy the rest of his days. Could you provide a place of comfort for this lovely guy?

Wilma

Wilma was a sweet old girl who was part of the Mascouche breeder surrender. She was aged and came to the rescue with a large tumour and a respiratory infection. Despite rounds of antibiotics (she was too ill to undergo surgery to have the tumour removed), she eventually passed away and joined so many other friends across the rainbow bridge. We are happy, however, that in her last weeks of life she was able to know so much love and care.
