Update: May 15, 2024. Unfortunately Sydney very rapidly developed symptoms of congestive heart failure. While she initially responded very well to lasiks + antibiotics, over the May long weekend, she had a sudden and severe decline. Meet Todd! This shy rex-y boy was abandoned inside an apartment complex and thankfully picked the right family's kitchen cabinets to invade! The couple who found him fed him for months and even built him a little shelter in their kitchen cabinets while trying to lure him out or catch him. This adorable mother-daughter trio are perfect in every way! We were told Mabel (mother), is about 1.5 years old, but we sincerely think she's closer to just 1 year old, as she still has so much energy and spunk. Update Aug. 22, 2024: Both Opal and Pearl developed more tumors. Pearl's tumor was easily removed. Opal had developed FOUR additional tumors. Only 3 were successfully removed. Sisters Wanda and Lilith were part of a large seizure at the Montreal SPCA. We have very little information about them, except that it's suspected they were originally bred to be snake food. Update: Nov. 2, 2023 Unfortunately Bear developed both PT and a mammary tumor right by her groin. Due to these two issues, we attempted to first control the PT symptoms to keep her comfortable, knowing that her time would be limited.
