Brothers Pigeon and Wren were dumped at the SPCA Gatineau, and unfortunately we know very little about them. We estimate they are about 18 months old. Both of them arrived with respiratory infections but luckily, they responded very quickly to antibiotics and are now healthy.
With the love and care of their foster family, they have come out of their shell and are showing their sweet and adventurous personalities. Both of them get super excited to see their foster parents near their enclosure, and are beginning to show a lot of excitement for both treats and human cuddles.
When they first arrived, they did not have much energy and were constantly hiding, but now, they love to explore and have bursts of excited energy, almost like they are puppies. Of the two, Wren seems to act like he’s a bit more timid still, but given a patient and kind family, both of them will come around and become lovely companions.
