Brothers Cosmo and Quasar are estimated to be about 1.5 years old.
They were originally purchased from a pet store in Gatineau, but after being with their previous owners for over a year, her son lost interest, moved and left them in the care of his mother. She unfortunately was not comfortable with the rats and had allergies to them, so she decided to surrender them to the Rescue.
Both boys arrived quite skiddish and having had very little socialization or human physical contact, were very scared about being picked up or held. However, with the help of our experienced foster family, they are now much more outgoing, very eager to come out and play and seem to have gained a second wind! These two are now active and happy to play and explore.
They do still need time to become comfortable with their new environment and new humans, but with a little patience and persistence, they will become your new best friends.
