Jerry and Tommy were surrendered to the Rescue after their previous owner had to move and decided she couldn’t take the pet rats with her. It just so happened that they were both still babies because she had just purchased them 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately she couldn’t remember the name of the breeder she got Tommy from, and the pet store she bought Jerry from only allows 7 days to return an unwanted pet.
The good news is that we had a foster family become available, and so we were able to take in these boys on short notice.
Jerry is a sweet, curious boy who loves to explore, climb and have his own independence, while Tommy is a total snuggle bug and lover. Both of them will cover you in gentle kisses.
These boys are estimated to be born some time in May of 2023. They are still babies and have tons of growing to do. We hope to find them a loving forever home where they will be given lots of room and enrichment to be able to continue developing mentally and physically.
